About Terry Frost and the Secondary Market
Sir Terry Frost RA is one of Britain’s most influential abstract artists of the 20th century, known for bold colour, rhythm and form. His paintings and signed limited edition prints are collected internationally and hold strong secondary market demand, particularly for works from his classic St Ives and post-war periods along with his later vivid compositions.
He was elected to the Royal Academy of Arts, London in 1992 and was knighted in 1998. The Royal Academy staged a major retrospective of his work, to coincide with his 85th birthday in 2000 which increased sales in his work.
