Biography John Terrick Williams [1860-1936]
John Terrick Williams was born in Liverpool in 1860 and studied in Antwerp under Verlat and also in Paris.
Based in London he became a painter of marine and landscape in pastel, watercolour and oils. He developed an impressionistic style capturing light and reflections.
He travelled widely to Venice, St.Tropez, Paris, Brittany and St.Ives.
John Terrick Williams died in 1936 followed by a memorial exhibition at the Fine Art Society in 1937.
