Sir Antony Gormley OBE RA – Biography
Born in Hampstead in 1950. Hey studied at Trinity College, Cambridge, Saint Martin’s School of Art, Goldsmiths, and the Slade School of Fine Art in London Known for his large-scale installations that explore the relationship between human form and space. Famous works include “Angel of the North” and “Another Place“. He often incorporates elements of architecture, nature, and everyday life into his work and has exhibited globally, including at Tate Modern and National Gallery in London. Recognised for his contributions to contemporary sculpture becoming a Royal Academician in 2003.
